Since the start of the year 2021, UOL’s Career Services and Corporate Linkages (CSCL) has been actively establishing the industrial linkages by signing MoUs with different organizations. The MoUs are aimed at strengthening the academia-industrial ties that would in return facilitate the placement for the UOL graduates.

In this regard, the University of Lahore and MyLift Lahore Cab Service signed an alliance on February 10, 2021. Mr. Asad Saleem (GM – MyLift) and Mr. Ali Qaswar Khaleeq (Acting HoD, CSCL) signed the partnership on behalf of their respective organizations. Ms. Sana Khan (Marketing Director, MyLift), Ms Muneezay Moeen (AM, Corporate Linkages, CSCL) and Mr. Faizan Tanveer (Alumni Relations Officer, CSCL) also joined the signing session.

As per the MoU, MyLift Lahore will be collaborating with UOL in the Campus Ambassadorship Program that was launched in March 2021. MyLift will select the campus ambassadors from amongst the enrolled students of UOL as per their interests and skills. This will be a semester long ambassadorship for the selected student(s) that will be considered as their internship and MyLift will be providing them the internship experience letters upon successful completion of the program.

Mr. Saleem expressed his immense pleasure on becoming partners with UOL. He said, “Joining hands with the largest private sector university in Pakistan is exciting as this will open doors to new avenues for MyLift”.

Mr. Qaswar said, “UOL students will be contributing to the business growth of MyLift and will also learn how to establish and run their own businesses”.

The event ended with the presentation of souvenirs to MyLift team members.
