The ITS department is responsible for the maintenance of and up-gradation of hardware and software including enterprise applications to ensure that the latest technology is available to all users at the university. This includes regular maintenance to reduce the possibility of any unscheduled IT infrastructure downtime.
The department implements the maintenance schedule of all equipment and facilities including routine inspections, cleaning, minor repairs, and adjustments where required. These preventative measures are essential in prolonging the life of the equipment and the smooth running of everyday affairs at the university.
The department is also responsible for unscheduled emergency and corrective maintenance procedures which help remove obstacles, fix any bugs/faults and keep the system operational and adaptive.
