National Institute of Health visits Islamabad Campus

On October 1, 2020, the National Institute of Health (NIH) team visited the UOL Islamabad Campus to check on the implementation of far-reaching COVID-19 policies and its practical manifestation on the ground. 

The NIH team consisted of two members who conducted the tests of the students as well as faculty members. Following the complete protocols and SOPs of COVID-19, all the 274 sampled individuals tested negative.

The Executive Trustee/Director Islamabad Campus, Brig (R) M. Ajaib, applauded the efforts of the university staff in the prevention and strict adherence to the COVID-19 SOPs in true word and spirit. He also expressed satisfaction and gratitude on the effective implementation of SOPs and declared UOL, Islamabad a role model for other institutions to emulate as regards to COVID-19 guidelines.

“We still have an obligation to religiously adhere to the protocols concerning the Corona Virus pandemic until it passes off completely. For this to happen, we must collaborate with each other”, he added.
