An MoU is signed between Remote Sensing, GIS and Climatic Research Lab (RSGCRL), University of the Punjab and Department of Physics (DoP), University of Lahore on 11 June 2021.
The focal persons of MoU are Dr. Salman Tariq from RSGCRL and Dr. Sadia Sagar Iqbal from DoP. The two institutes will collaborate in developing joint research proposals and data sharing, organization of conferences, seminars and workshops, providing mentorship and learning opportunities to the students and young professionals and their involvement through internships and research theses in the fields of atmospheric physics and chemistry, air pollution, meteorology and climate change by employing satellite remote sensing and GIS technologies. The signature target of the MoU is to develop institutional linkages that will serve as a continuous and consistent support in the execution of all other activities.
