The University of Lahore (UOL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tambov State Technical University (TSTU) of Russia. Pro-Rector (Academics) of UOL Prof. Nasir Mahmood and the Vice-Rector for International Relations of TSTU Prof. Elena Mischenko signed the agreement on Tuesday January 29th, 2013.
The signing of MOU will initiate and facilitate cooperation between the two Universities, and between the two countries. Within the framework of the fields of common interests, both Universities will encourage the exchange and mutual participation of scholars, academic staff and students in exhibitions, lectures, conferences, symposia & workshops. UOL and TSTU agrees on establishing joint degree programs between corresponding departments of both Universities and in promoting the activities of joint research in fields of common interest.
