BS Mechanical Engineering (BSME) The Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Lahore will provide a solid foundation in Mathematics, Science and Computational Skills to solve engineering problems in vast areas such as Thermo fluids, Manufacturing System and Mechanical Design. The curriculum includes analytical tolls, creative thought, communication skills and their applications to solve engineering problems of the real world for a successful career and lifelong learning.
Well experienced and highly qualified faculty members will provide quality education and prepare the student to achieve the following objectives in the Mechanical Engineering program.
1. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering.
2. An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
3. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.
4. An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.
5. An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practices.
6. An ability to communicate effectively and understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global and social context.
